How to get from Hong Kong Airport to Macau or China

I didn’t find any information on the Internet in advance, even on the official websites it’s not a damn clear, so I’m sharing my experience!
Previously, boats used to sail directly from the airport to Macau. But they haven’t been running since January 2025.
You can get there by cross-border bus, from one of the 3 bus stops at Hong Kong Airport.
Buses run 24 hours (but not all routes).
You need to get out of the airport onto the street (in my case, press the button in the elevator on the 3rd floor).
I went to the Cheong Tat Road bus stop and waited 10 minutes and boarded the B4 bus.
Paid by AlipayHK. (you can also take buses A11, A21, A22, A29 or A31, A33X)
My bus first stopped at 11 Skies, and the next stop was HZMB port (Hong Kong Zhuhai Macau bridge)
, then entered the huge border building.
I passed the Hong Kong border to leave Hong Kong (the Smart E-channel did not work, I went through the border guard).
Next, you need to buy a ticket at the vending machine. Everything is easy and understandable.
There are 2 routes: Zhuhai (China) or Macau.
I bought a ticket to Macau for HKD 65 via AlipayHK. There are other payment methods.
And he immediately boarded the bus, which immediately departed.
We got there quickly, in 30 minutes (sometimes it takes 50 minutes).
We got to a building I already know in Macau – HZMB port (this is already a border building with the Macau border guards), where I had already been 10 times (at those times I arrived in a private minivan).
I crossed the border (in my case, I went through the E-channel) and went down to the street.
There are 4 ways to get to the city on the street at the exit:
– taxi
– a customized minivan driver (I can arrange one for you. it is convenient if 5-6 people and luggage)
– free shuttle buses to hotels (open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
– city buses 2 routes 101X or 102X
I chose the 102X bus (by looking at the route in the Moovit app).
What other options are there to get from Hong Kong Airport to Macau?
– There are counters with agents of cross-border taxi. They charge about 250 yuan per person. They give me a minivan. We may have to wait until we have enough people.
– If you have booked a hotel in Macau, you will be directed to a free bus or minivan to HZMB port (in Macau). And then transfer to their other free bus to the hotel.
– a customized minivan driver (I can arrange one for you. it is convenient if 5-6 people and luggage)
The driver will meet you at the Hong Kong airport with a sign and take you straight to your hotel in Macau.
From Macau or Zhuhai, you can also take a bus (24 hours) to HZMB port (in Macau), cross the border, buy a ticket, and arrive at HZMB port (in Hong Kong), from where you can take a taxi or bus to the address you need in Hong Kong.
