Instruction manual. How to get by boat from Hong Kong to Macau.
Arrive by 9:30 a.m. by taxi to Hongkong Macau ferry terminal (Sheung Wan) 港澳客輪碼頭出入境管制站
Do not arrive too early, otherwise you will be invited to the boat earlier and you will end up in Macau earlier and you will have to wait for the guide (me).
Take the elevator to the 3rd floor.
Buy tickets at the ticket office of the Turbojet carrier (red logo) for departure 10:00 a.m. to Macau Outer Harbor (MAC).
And together buy return tickets for departure 19:00 from Macau Outer Harbor (MAC) to Hongkong Macau ferry (Sheung Wan).
Economy tickets and a higher class, hand on heart, are not particularly different. The most expensive tickets have some food.
The entrance with tickets is next to the ticket office – WEST Bridge.
If it’s a holiday or a day off, then tickets may no longer be available for the next boats.
Then buy either from the agents, next to the official cash register, or at the next cash register, nearby, from the CotaiJet carrier (blue logo).
But the pier will be different – Macau Taipa ferry. This pier is a 15-minute taxi ride to Macau Outer Harbour (MAC), so that’s a go too.
The entrance to the CotaiJet ticket boat is via the EAST Bridge, next to their ticket office.

* Important! The time on the purchased tickets is not critical.
If you bought tickets for 10:30 or 11:00, you can leave at 09:00 and at 11:30.
If you bought tickets for 19:00, then you can also leave sooner or later!
* In the waiting room, even if the tickets are economy, go to the 1st class lounge and sit quietly on upholstered chairs. No one cares, no one check.
